CME Objective
This program is designed for the practicing surgeon. It is meant to provide an update in the various disciplines of surgery with application to daily practice, and to enhance the knowledge of the participant in these areas. The program is intended to meet the needs of surgeons in clinical practice for up-to-date information on the latest techniques in general and specialty surgical areas and to provide a means for surgical students and researchers to report the results of their research.
Topics will cover a broad range of surgical practice interests including updates and advances in cancer, pediatric surgery, trauma, and patient care. The intent of the program is to improve the quality of patient care and improve patient safety.

Abstract Session: Surgical Potpourri I: 0.50 credit
Abstract Session: Critical Care/Trauma: 0.50 (trauma mandate .50 hour)
Pediatric Surgery: 0.50 credit (pediatric surgery mandate .50 hour)
Abstract Session: Surgical Oncology: 0.25 (cancer mandate .25 hour)
Abstract Session: Surgical Potpourri II: 0.25 credit

There’s no fee to attend the meeting if you are a member of the Minnesota Surgical Society.
